Join us this Saturday, May 9th, 10-4 for our “Common Good” Plant Sale!

Each Spring, as we sow seeds for our own patch, we sow some for yours as well. It has become the best part of the year for us: sowing and tending thousands of plants for the sale.

The ‘Common Good Plant Sale’ is the brainchild of Georgie Newbery, owner of . All around the world, farmers and gardeners are joining in on this day to sow seeds of hope by raising money for local charities and creating a ripple effect of good. Last year we were able to raise $2000 for Edible Evanston and Lemon Tree Trust!

This year we will be donating our plant sale profits to (ECC) because, after all, the only way to keep our community safe, healthy and equal is through mutual aid, solidarity i.e. common good. We’ll also be collecting items for the baby pantry. See a list of much needed items in our post.

Come to the corner farm to be with community, celebrate plants and help us imagine the ripple effect!

This is a list of the plants we’ll have available. Quantities are limited and they may sell out so come early if you have your heart set on something! Sizes and prices vary. We will also have compost and potting mix from for purchase.

Let’s take a break from it all and think Spring, shall we?

Seed sowing is bringing us life right now, and we can’t wait to share it with you all. Cozy up and browse this year’s plant selection - it’s pretty exciting.

We are so chuffed to share our new collection of Curated Cutting & Container Gardens. All of our experience, love of plants and garden wishes went into creating them … we hope they help some of you imagine the gardens, containers and vases to come.

After 5 years of growing specialty cut flowers in Evanston, we have really honed in on what works well in our wacky climate, tolerates clay soils, high ph water etc etc. So as we sow seeds for our own patch, we sow some for yours as well. It has become the best part of the year for us: sowing and tending thousands of plants for the common good. This year, all our profits will be donated to the incredible folks from

Pre-order now for the best selection and join us on May 9 for browsing plants, seeing the farm and gathering with community! We can’t wait. xo.

We are appreciating our spring forced bulbs this morning here in the studio. The tulips were the stars of the show last week but these sweet Frittilaria are coming in at a close second. The movement and swoop of their long stems is so special.

Plenty of seed starting, tending and farm planning are well underway here but we thought these sweet blooms deserved their own spotlight this week. Like our Valentine’s tulips, these bulbs (frittilaria, muscari, iris, and daffodil) went into our coolers last November! They’re the perfect detail and pop of color for the corsages and boutonnières we’re making this week.

Join us in the studio this spring for our Floral Jewelry workshop April 10th and 11th. Spring bulbs are some of the best for creating delicate, beautiful, long-lasting wearables and we’re excited to share all the fundamentals with you.
