Things our vet techs are really good at:

🐾 Convincing suspicious dogs that we're actually pretty nice.

🐾 Getting cats to cooperate. Sometimes.

🐾 Remembering approximately 600 pet names.

🐾 Handling the gross stuff without blinking.

🐾 Knowing when a patient needs a little extra love.

Oh, and they're also incredibly skilled medical professionals. Kind of a big deal.

Happy Vet Tech Week to our awesome crew! We love you guys!

🎃👻🍬 We loved getting to see so many familiar faces, meet some new ones, and hang out with our Evans community at Trunk-or-Treat last night at Evans Towne Center!

One of our favorite things about being a locally owned vet clinic is getting to be part of the community outside of the exam room, too. ❤️

Thanks to everyone who stopped by to say hey! We had a blast, and we're already looking forward to next year! 🧡🐾

If your dog shakes in the parking lot or your cat lets you know exactly how they feel about the carrier, you're not alone! 💛

Vet visits can be overwhelming for some pets, especially those who've had stressful experiences in the past. Patience, gentle handling, and paying attention to your pet's comfort can make a meaningful difference.

At Southern Trails Vet, we work to create a calmer experience and meet pets where they are. Some of our team members are Fear Free Certified, and low-stress care is an important part of our approach.

Have a nervous pet? Let us know when scheduling so we can talk about ways to make their next visit easier. 🐾

It's Vet Tech Week, and we have some pretty amazing people to celebrate!

Our techs do A LOT. They're drawing blood, monitoring anesthesia, comforting nervous pets, helping our doctors, and doing about 47 other things before lunch.

And they do it because they genuinely love what they do (even on the days when someone gets peed on before 9 AM).

We're so lucky to have this crew taking care of our patients. They work hard, they care big, and Southern Trails wouldn't be the same without them.

Help us give them some love this week! 💙

You know what we wish more people could see?

All the little things our vet techs do when nobody's watching.

The extra few minutes they spend with a scared dog. The way they talk to a patient waking up from surgery. The attention they give to making sure every pet is comfortable and cared for.

It's not always glamorous work. It's sometimes messy, sometimes exhausting, and occasionally involves a cat who has VERY strong opinions.

But our techs show up and give their best because these animals matter to them.

And that means the world to us.

Happy Vet Tech Week to some of our favorite humans. 💙

A referral means a lot to us.

When you send a friend to Southern Trails, you’re trusting us with someone you care about and a pet they love. We don’t take that lightly.

For a limited time, we’re saying thank you with a $20 credit for every friend you refer, while your friend gets 10% off their visit.

And there’s no limit to how much credit you can earn. ❤️

We think the best way to grow Southern Trails is pretty simple: take great care of people and pets, then hope they tell their friends.

So we’re making that second part a little sweeter.

For a limited time, refer a friend and they’ll save 10% on their visit while you earn a $20 account credit.

No limit on referrals. Just lots of new pets for us to love.

We had such a great time at Oktoberfest this weekend! 🍂🥨🐾

Our Southern Trails team loved getting out of the hospital, spending the day in our community, and seeing so many familiar faces stop by our booth. ❤️

One of our favorite things about being a locally owned veterinary practice is getting to be part of the community we care for. Not just when your pet needs us, but at fun days like this, too.

Thanks to everyone who stopped by to say hello! We loved seeing you. 🍻🐶
