Did you know Weather plays a HUGE part in hay production?

Too much rain can keep us out of the field. Too little rain affects growth. Humidity and dew can make it harder to get hay dry, while wind can change conditions in a matter of minutes.

That’s why timing is everything. We’re constantly watching the forecast and the conditions in the field, waiting for that window when everything lines up.

So when you see a farmer waiting on a woman…

…it’s probably Mother Nature. 😉

There’s beauty in watching a harvest come together.

Barley headed to Anheuser-Busch, with the straw left behind to be baled and put to use.

Hay may be our main focus, but there’s always more happening around the farm.
