We have some big changes to share!
As we have added more doctors, the amount of pets that we see have increased dramatically. This has increased wait times for walk-ins, phone hold times, and veterinarian appointment availability. We are constantly looking for ways to help our staff and clients/patients.
Because of this, we are transitioning to scheduled technician appointments instead of walk-ins for services like vaccinations, a**l gland expressions, and pedicures. Starting November 1st, we will be fully transitioned and all technician services must be scheduled. In the meantime, we will still allow walk-ins, but note that wait times may be long as we prioritize scheduled technician appointments. We understand that your time is important, so this will allow us to help you with minimal wait times. We will still be holding Saturday vaccination clinics from noon-1PM as a walk-in.
We also understand that the phone hold times have been long due to the high volume of client and patient needs. To combat this, we are now able to offer online appointment booking for both technician appointments and doctor exam appointments! You can do this through our pet portal provider: Vello. Through the Vello Pet Portal, you can add pets, look at service due dates, request medication refills, schedule and cancel appointments, and more! You can also access the portal on your phone. Please utilize this tool when possible so that we can try to keep our phone hold times as short as possible.

Technician appointments will be available to book 1 hour in advance, so you can check for same day availability. Please note that we cannot address any health issues at technician appointments, please schedule a doctor exam. Doctor exams will be available to book 7 days in advance if available. But be aware that we are booking out about 2 months for exams, so please schedule annual exams 2 months ahead of time to make sure there is no lapse in medications. For life-threatening issues, please call us so that we can triage and get you seen sooner.
We also have alternative methods of contacting us for non urgent issues so that you don’t have to be on hold. Please note that we check these areas as staff is available and we may have a high volume of messages, so responses may take 1-2 business days. Any urgent issues should be communicated by phone. Prescription refills must be requested at least 1-2 days in advance as we may need to get approval from your pet’s regular veterinarian and to give us time to fill the medication. Same day requests are not guaranteed and may cause a lapse in medication.
