Saturday, August 8th is International Cat Day! ❤️🐱
It was first announced in 2002 by the International Fund for Animal
Welfare, and highlights the importance of keeping cats safe, ending cruelty and finding homes for stray cats.
It also celebrates the bond between a pet owner and their feline fur babies.
If you have a special cat that you
would like to celebrate today, please share a photo and the pet’s name. We love seeing our patients at home.
Healthy, happy, and spoiled rotten!

July 31st is National Mutt Day! ❤️🐾

National Mutt Day encourages us to embrace, rescue, and celebrate mixed breed dogs that represent 80% of the canine population! It’s a day to celebrate all the wonderful mixed-breed dogs that have been adopted and are still in need of loving homes.

If you have a mixed breed dog please share a pic and the story of how they joined your family!

🧺 Help Us Help Our Patients! 🐾

Our furry patients go through a lot of towels each day, and we're running a little low!

If you have any gently used bath towels, hand towels, or blankets that you're no longer using, we'd love to give them a second life caring for pets in need. These donations help keep our hospitalized and recovering patients warm, comfortable, and clean.

Donations can be dropped off anytime at:

📍 Airport Freeway Animal Emergency Hospital
📍 833 Airport Fwy, Euless, TX 76040

Every towel makes a difference, and we're so grateful for the incredible support from our community. ❤️

Thank you for helping us provide the best possible care for our patients!

His warm, soulful eyes are full of love and affection for everyone. Getting to love on all the precious fur babies we see sure make the hard days much better. ❤️

Does this remind you of your fur baby? 😂🐾

If your pet needs it's own "squeakerectomy" after performing one on a toy and swallowing it, we are here for them 24/7/365!
Toys can quickly become foreign bodies when chewed up and swallowed. Signs to watch out for are vomiting, diarrhea, lethargy, refusal to eat or drink, abdominal pain and possibly distention. If you suspect your pet could have swallowed something they shouldn't have, getting them seen as soon as possible is best to prevent serious complications.

July 22nd marks AAHA Accreditation Day & 4 yrs since we become an AAHA accredited hospital! ❤️🐾

To be American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA) accredited
means a veterinary practice has voluntarily chosen to meet or
exceed roughly 900 stringent quality standards. Only about 15%
of veterinary hospitals in the U.S. and Canada hold this distinction,
which covers patient care, pain management, and medical record
keeping.

There is no shortage of licensed veterinarians. State licensing
ensures a baseline level of competence, but it does not require
the kind of ongoing evaluation that AAHA accreditation involves.
When you are choosing a vet, accreditation status is one of the
clearest signals available to you that a practice has been
independently verified against a meaningful benchmark.

Beyond credentials, accreditation also signals something about
a practice’s values. Any clinic that voluntarily pursues and renews
AAHA status is one that takes the quality of veterinary care
seriously enough to be held accountable for it.

We are PROUD to be AAHA Accredited and our commitment to providing excellence in veterinary care 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
