Even though staff pet Zeke enjoyed the snow a few years ago, winter weather can be tough on pets! ❄️ Keep your animals indoors, if it's too cold for you it's too cold for them. Avoid shaving them down to the skin. After walks, wash and dry their paws and belly to remove ice, salt, and chemicals. Limit baths during cold spells and clean up any antifreeze spills immediately—it's toxic. Ensure your pet has a warm, draft-free place to sleep, preferably off the floor.
