Seven sweet puppies have started their new lives with their forever families! 🥳🥰

Toward the end of July, we welcomed seven adorable German Wirehaired Pointer mix pups after Mama’s family reached out for help. Unfortunately, when they adopted Mama, they were told she was spayed, which wasn’t the case. When she became pregnant, the family did everything they could to ensure the puppies were safe and cared for during the first weeks of their lives, but they needed some help making sure each of them found a responsible and loving home. And we were very happy to help with that!

The German litter was a joy to care for, and each puppy had their own special little personality. Now they’re all off creating magical new memories with forever families of their own, and that sure is something to smile about!

A huge thank you to all of the wonderful new families for choosing to adopt your new BFFs. We’re wishing you all many years of happiness with your new pals! 🥰🙌🏼❤️

Apps are open for sweet Sylvie! 💐

Sylvie is a smaller Terrier mix at about 10 lbs, and she's around 2 years old. She's an affectionate lady who truly loves to be with her people 🥹 We don't know a lot about her past, or why she ended up without a family, but we do know she's going to make someone extremely happy with her companionship 🥰

Sylvie currently lives with two other smaller female dogs, and while she does do well sharing her space with them, she does have her boundaries and doesn't always want to share her toys or attention from her human pals. We think she could absolutely still enjoy living in a home with another well-balanced doggy friend, (preferably a male) but her family should be able to maintain clear boundaries, structure, and supervision as they are getting to know each other. We do not currently know how she would do in a home with cats.

Sylvie will thrive in a home with an active, dedicated family who can offer her lots of love, structure, and guidance ❤️ To read even more about our sweet girl, head to her adoption profile on our website today!

Our sweet little Zero man has landed himself a forever family! 😍🥹🙌🏼

Zero joined us back in July after his previous family could no longer care for him and another dog (Wiley, who was also adopted!). Zero was as sweet as they come, and was a wonderful and playful buddy to several of our other rescue dogs while he was here! 💓

Being the friendly, affectionate, and handsome boy that he is, it's no surprise to us that an awesome couple decided they needed to welcome him into their family 😍 He's now got two humans that absolutely adore him, 3 kitty siblings, and a big doggy sis that he gets to spend his days playing with! Oh, and his new name? It's Jumbo Shrimp aka Shrimpington 🦐🍤😭

Thank you so much to his new humans Spencer & Nikah for choosing adoption, and for giving this sweet boy a second chance at being part of a loving family! 🙌🏼❤️

Good morning from Chili, Paprika, and Cayenne! 🌶️ We received some wonderful adoption apps for these girls, (and their two other sisters!) so far, and we are in the process of reviewing those now. We are striving to set up meet & greets for them for next week/weekend once they are all finished with their quarantine period🤞🏼🥰

Hopefully soon each one of these sweet little ladies will be settling in with their new forever family! 🥹

Pebbles has some wonderful news to share with you all! 🥁

1. She is officially parvo negative! 😭🥳🙌🏼
2. She is now accepting adoption apps! 😍

Pebbles may have had a rough start to her rescue journey, but this sweet little girl is ready to leave that chapter behind! As you all know, our sweet little girl arrived at the rescue sick with parvo, but after receiving treatment, Pebbles made an amazing recovery and is now thriving, happy, and ready for her forever home. 🙌🏼

Pebbles is only 3 months old, and has a cheerful little personality, making it incredibly hard not to fall in love with her. She is a gentle, docile girl who loves her people and especially enjoys showing off her favorite toys. Like any young puppy, Pebbles will need adopters who are prepared for the time, patience, training, and commitment that come with raising a puppy. In return, they’ll get the joy of watching this resilient little girl grow into a wonderful companion. After everything she’s been through, Pebbles is ready for the happy ending she deserves. She’s sweet, she’s playful, and she’s ready to be someone’s very special puppy!

It’s official- our new thrift store has a name! 🐾

Introducing STRAY GOODS THRIFT by Northwest Dog Project! ❤️

We wanted a name that felt fun, memorable and connected to the animals at the heart of everything we do, and Stray Goods felt like the perfect fit.

The shop will be filled with a mix of fun vintage treasures, clothing, home goods, everyday items, pet supplies and all sorts of other good finds. Best of all, every purchase will help support all of the work that is NW Dog Project!

Another sweet boy has found his forever family! 😍🥳

Remember Bennie? He arrived back in July after he found himself in a rural shelter. Thankfully one of our rescue partners asked if we could take him, and we were able to say yes! This sweet guy stole our hearts right away, and now it looks like he's busy stealing the hearts of his new fam, too 🥹

Thank you so much to his new family for choosing adoption, and for making sure Bennie got to know what true love feels like again 🥰🙏🏼 Wishing you all many years of happiness together! ✨

Let's celebrate an adoption this morning!

Who remembers sweet Sammy? 😍 This fluffy guy joined us back in July after a Good Samaritan had found him wandering around all alone. When they couldn't locate his family, they reached out for help, and that's where we came in ❤️

Sammy was a bundle of fun as soon as he arrived, and getting to care for him was such a blast. We're so grateful to his new forever family for choosing to adopt, and for giving this sweet boy the dream life every dog wants! He's now got a sweet doggy sibling to pal around with, and a future full of love and adventures with his new best friends. What more could a dog want? 😭😍 Have the best life little man!! 🥰
