🚨🚨Rescue needed! This little Chihuahua is currently out of Bay Area Shelter I cannot give the name as their request but he needs out right away. Here is what we were told-
Chase arrived with a broken, right, rear foot and was taken to the emergency vet. He has an old fracture with pins that are currently broken and dislocated and an amputation is recommended.
I've been working with Chase for many weeks and we need to find a place for him as soon as possible. He weighs only 6 pounds and he is approximately 7 years old. He is frightened at the shelter and in need of medical care so he needs a rescue to help him.
Chase has done well with other dogs and arrived with a slightly larger female who was already rescued. He has done well meeting volunteers outside of the stressful shelter environment. I have other videos if you'd like to see him meeting strangers and other dogs.
Chase likes to explore the yard, enjoys being held and pet, and he is especially treat motivated.
