Great service is rarely one big moment. It's a hundred small ones.

This week, we're celebrating our Service Team, the people who make those moments count for our clients. You're the ones who solve problems, who show up with patience when people need it most, and who are dedicated to helping others day in and day out.

Thank you for being the backbone of what we do and why thousands of clients choose Goosehead.

Good neighbors care for what matters to you and invest in the places they belong, and that's something we pride ourselves in.

Across the country, our agency partners and offices show up for causes that strengthen their neighborhoods, support local families, and help their neighbors protect what matters most.

Because we don’t just do business in our communities. We’re part of them. 🪿

So, what actually happens to your policy after you file a claim? 👀

There’s no one-size-fits-all answer. Some claims may have little to no impact. Others could affect your premium at renewal depending on the type of claim, fault, your claims history, and your carrier’s guidelines.

Don’t let the fear of a rate change keep you from using your insurance when you need it. Filing a claim should come down to what makes the most sense for your situation.

Thanks Patti, I'm glad I could save you and Greg a bunch of money! Best, Bryan Bullock

Oregon Friends: With wildfire season in effect, now is a good time to spend 10 minutes preparing—not panicking.

Here are a few things everyone should check today:

✅ Dwelling Coverage – Would your policy realistically rebuild your home at today’s construction costs?
✅ Extended Replacement Cost – Do you have additional coverage if rebuilding costs surge after a widespread wildfire?
✅ Personal Property – Is the amount covering everything you own actually enough?
✅ Loss of Use (Additional Living Expenses) – If you’re forced to evacuate for weeks or months, will your policy help pay for a hotel, rent, meals, and other extra expenses?
✅ Deductibles – Make sure you know what you’ll be responsible for if you have a claim.

If you live in or near an evacuation area:
* 📸 Walk through your home and record a video of each room.
* 📁 Save important documents to the cloud.
* 💊 Pack medications, chargers, IDs, passports, and pet supplies.
* 📦 Have a “go bag” ready before you’re told to leave.
* 🚗 Keep your gas tank at least half full.
* 📲 Enable emergency alerts on your phone.

One thing I always tell my clients: The day before a loss is the best day to review your insurance.
If you’re not sure whether your policy has the right protection, I’m happy to review it with you—even if I’m not your current agent. I’d much rather help someone prepare than have to explain why something wasn’t covered after a wildfire.
Stay safe, Oregon.

☔ Rain or shine, your coverage should be ready for anything! ☔

Here’s how to weatherproof your home insurance policy before severe weather hits:

Review your coverage limits to ensure they match the cost of rebuilding your home.

Document your belongings for claims-proof inventory and peace of mind.

Ask about flood coverage if you live in a high-risk zone (psst… it’s not always included in standard policies).

I'm here to analyze your policy and ensure it fits your needs. Call me today, so the next storm won’t catch you off guard. https://www.goosehead.com/agents/or/eugene/bryan-bullock
