Thank you, Anna, Josh and Sean for your donations this month through our Zeffy account. Last month we spent over $1500 and donations were $120. We are grateful for everyone who helps contribute to make up for some of the monthly gap. đŸ„č

đŸ„ The results are in for newest pack member, low content woofer, Zeph.

We do DNA testing so adopters can understand what they’re actually getting—and what they’re not—when they apply to adopt.

We don’t want people walking around saying they have a “Wolf” when they have a wolfdog, or calling a low-content wolfdog high-content. Misrepresenting what these animals are can lead someone else to seek out a wolfdog thinking they’ve met one that was easy to manage—when the reality is very different.

A huge part of what we do is educate the public about wolfdogs, especially why the animal they want may not fit the life they have.

That education can prevent animals from ending up in rescue in the first place.

If you’d like to support the work we do, we can use all the help we can get. Can you help us continue helping at risk animals in need? https://www.zeffy.com/en-US/donation-form/donate-to-make-a-difference-5971 đŸș❀

Zoe’s breed reveal đŸș

Zoe’s story is like so many: someone got a wolfdog they shouldn’t have. Seven years later, they decided she didn’t fit in their life anymore and tried to rehome her—unfixed.

This month, we took in two wolfdogs specifically to get them fixed. Because the last thing we need is more wolfdogs being bred—and more animals needing rescue.

Anyone want to guess her wolf percentage before we reveal the results? 👀

Let the dogs out & forgot to close the door. Very grateful for Autocraft, who got the door closing again after all the other body shops told me I would need to get a new door. đŸ™ŒđŸ€©
