Seems simple but, have you tried putting the “toppers” on the bottom?

Don’t end up with a dog who picks off the top and gets the best parts in the first few bites. Adding the bonus to the bottom encourages them to eat their food first, and ups the enrichment by offering an opportunity to “search” or “scavenge” for those extras.

Not to mention freezing it like I did here makes it last longer and is a great option for a hot day like the ones we’re having lately! 🌞🍦🐶

this one is topped with a ton of super foods, I recently talked about sardines, and I love SMELT for all the same reasons, maybe even more because they’re soooooooo small.

The smaller the fish the better, due to the bio accumulation of mercury. I like to feed a lot of oily fish so having access to these teeny tiny functional fishes is ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️!

It’s no secret that sardines are a superfood supporting the skin, mobility, and cognitive health of our dogs.

I like to keep them in consistent rotation, but finding them fresh can be difficult and canned sardines are flying off the shelves these days!!!

These dried sardine chips from Fauna Pet Market are the perfect solution, I always make sure to have some in my stash so we’re never without our fishy favorite.
