Good afternoon pup parents! I've got a new booking app I'm going to be trying soon! I can't wait to see how it does. I also have a few small changes as well but no worries not necessarily pricing. I will be breaking up my "large" dogs and adding an "extra large" category however for anything over 100lbs and "Giant" at 140lbs I don't have very many however I do usually have to bring in help to lift these bigger pups in the tub. I will also be starting some creative grooming as well! It will be a while before I really start offering those services full time because it does take longer and requires an extra bath as well so I have to figure out exactly how I have to do pricing π₯° but I can't wait!
No, I will not do a creative groom without permission from a client
No, if your pup is anxious, especially with baths, I will not be able to do full creative, however open to some light fun stuff which will also be in a different category
I will be making wavers and informational sheets for clients with problems regarding these topics in a few weeks hopefully
1. Aggression/aggravated dogs. Most dogs are nervous, however some are aggressive when they are scared. I want all open conversations with the parents and their pups to bring a better environment for them whether that's booking on no dog days or taking your pup to the vet for assistance on how we can maintain safe behavior for them and myself. As much as I love pups who "smile" safety comes first l for everyone
2. Matting, I do not typically have many matted dogs and a lot of times it's from just not knowing how important brushing and regular grooming can be for a pups health. It will go over guidelines for brushing and care along with my pricing
3. Ear mites. I'm so bad at explaining them π€£ I will have print outs on what they are how they may have got there and how to help treat, however a vet trip will always be recommended because even tho I may feel like it's ear mites I do t want to misjudge and not get a yeast infection in ears properly treated.
4. Nail care. Nails are quick and simple most days however when your pup becomes less active or not a runner or digger, they can become a problem including growing into a paw pad. I typically charge only $5 to trim up some nails. It helps your pup and me with your next groom if you tend to stretch your grooms out.
5. For those interested in having a pop of color, I will also have print outs about product details I use. I only use pet formulated products for the colors but I want you to have information you need handy so you can skip the research part yourself π₯°
