🏔️🐾 SNICKERS NEEDS AN ADVENTURE PARTNER!
Snickers has the hiking skills. She has the enthusiasm. She even has excellent leash manners. The only thing missing? Someone to call her own. ❤️
This 3-year-old, 62-pound pit mix recently joined her foster mom for a mountain adventure, and she loved every minute. Roots, rocks, uphill climbs—she handled it all without pulling. This girl wants to get out and DO things, and she’s looking for an active family who feels the same way!
A few things to know about your potential hiking buddy:
🐱 She lives with three cats. She’d love to be friends. The cats have not approved her application. 😂
🐶 She’s dog selective. She could be your only dog or potentially live with a confident, playful dog around her size. A careful, slow introduction is essential.
👧 She’s great with kids, especially those comfortable around a big, strong dog.
💪 She needs someone comfortable handling strong dogs or willing to work with a trainer.
❤️ An old injury needs ongoing maintenance. It hasn’t stopped her from enjoying adventures, but her adopter must be committed to keeping up with her care. Her foster will explain the details to serious applicants.
Snickers is already loved in her foster home. But she deserves a family who gets to say, “She’s ours.”
And when she finds that family, her foster can welcome another shelter dog. Her adoption opens the door for someone else to get their chance, too. 🏡
