We've been lucky enough to be part of Bonnie's/Xenia’s journey, and we're so excited to see how well she's doing post-op.

Seeing Bonnie's progress just one week after surgery has been incredibly rewarding. Dr. Malak did a beautiful job correcting the painful entropion that had been affecting her eyes, and her recovery has exceeded expectations. Cases like Bonnie's are a reminder of how life-changing quality veterinary care can be.

Ladies and gentlemen, we present...

✨ Simon Rex✨

This handsome tripod is one of our favorite regulars and somehow manages to steal hearts everywhere he goes—whether he's stopping by for arthritis injections, routine visits, or a day at the spa with Marra.

So when Simon's mom asked if Marra could give him a dinosaur cut, Marra didn't just understand the assignment...

She absolutely crushed it.

The result?

🦖 A Tripodactyl.
🦖 A Velocikitty.
🦖 A Jurassic Heartthrob.

Honestly, we're still deciding.

We're not saying this haircut gave him more confidence...

But we're also not saying it didn't. 😏

Safe to say Simon is rocking his new look like the legend he is. ❤️🐾

Juliette would like everyone to know she had a very long weekend and is simply not prepared to discuss it at this time. 😎🐱

Unfortunately for her, we're open for Urgent Care tonight and regular clinic hours resume tomorrow.
While the rest of the staff is getting back into work mode, Juliette has decided her only contribution today will be looking cool, avoiding eye contact, and pretending she didn't hear any of that.

Happy Monday from your favorite overworked clinic cat. 🐾☕😂

So yesterday, the Lakeland team decided to put that skill to the test with the Blindfolded 1 mL Challenge. 😅

You spend enough years in vet med and eventually you start to develop a sixth sense for volume. As it turns out, most of us were close! Some were nearly perfect, one person absolutely nailed it, and overall we were pretty impressed with how accurate everyone was.

Watch and see who came closest!

May brought the flowers, but our patients brought the personality. 🌷🐾

As we kick off the first week of June, we're looking back at some of the adorable, goofy, sweet, and occasionally dramatic faces we had the pleasure of seeing last week.

Whether they came for treats, TLC, or reluctantly attended their appointment, we're glad they stopped by. ❤️
