Good morning everyone. While I usually only post updates on Frankie…. I wanted to share my sweet foster with everyone. She was found out in a field running with her nine week old pups. I think there were 5-6 of them. She was the best momma and kept them safe and alive but it took so much out of her. The pups are now placed with another rescue and on their way to adoptions but I am fostering momma- Dawsyn….. a goldendoodle. She is the sweetest baby ever. She has apparently been abused and has had to fight for survival. Dennis and I are teaching her love, kindness and belonging to a family. She is skittish and worries when we take her out leash training or in the back yard that we won’t let her back in. However, as we progress in earning her trust - she is opening up and her personality is shining through. She is skin and bones and had to be shaved but we are giving her great food resources trying to put weight back on her. She has shown no aggression with people or dogs and ignores our cat Henry. We are working on potty training and manners. One day she is going to bless some family in the biggest way because she is such a sweetie and just wants to please, cuddle and show love.

Remember- don’t judge a book by its cover. She’s got gorgeous eyes, a gorgeous personality and one day- she’s going to have gorgeous fur too.
