☀️ Summer Boarding & Daycare Update ☀️

We wanted to give everyone a quick update on our summer availability! 🐾

We are booking up very quickly and are currently fully booked through June 21st. We also have limited availability for the remainder of June, so if you’re planning any summer trips, now is the time to reserve your pup’s stay!

🇺🇸 Holiday Week Update: We are fully booked July 2nd–5th. We do have some openings available after those dates, but spots are filling fast.

As our spa services continue to grow, we’ve updated our pricing to better reflect different breed sizes and coat types. Some pups simply require a lot more drying, brushing, and de-shedding time than others, so this helps us keep pricing fair for everyone while continuing to provide quality care and one-on-one attention. 💛

We’re hiring a Dog Kennel Technician to join our small, hands-on team! This is a great fit for someone who truly enjoys working with dogs and wants to be part of a fun, supportive environment.

✨ Why you’ll love working here:
• Small, low-stress facility (just 8 runs!)
• Flexible scheduling – anywhere from 10–20+ hours/week available
• Quarterly team outings (we like to have fun outside of work too!)
• Work closely with dogs in a more controlled, personalized setting

🐶 What you’ll do:
• Supervise small, structured playgroups
• Monitor dog behavior for safe interactions
• Clean and maintain kennels & play areas
• Feed, water, and care for all dogs
• Help with boarding drop-offs/pick-ups
• Assist with basic bathing/grooming

📌 Position Details:
• Part-time (approx. 10–30 hours/week)
• $13/hour
• 1099 Independent Contractor

✔️ Requirements:
• 18+ years old
• Valid driver’s license
• Comfortable with dogs of all sizes & temperaments
• Reliable, hardworking, and able to stay active
• Animal experience preferred (but not required)

The Dog Inn is seeking a reliable, hardworking Dog Kennel Technician to join our team! This is a hands-on role perfect for someone who genuinely enjoys working with dogs and takes pride in providing a clean, safe, and structured environment.

Position Details:
• Part-time: approximately 15-30 hours per week
• $13/hour
• 1099 Independent Contractor

Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise and manage small, controlled playgroups
• Monitor dog behavior to ensure safety and appropriate interactions
• Clean and sanitize kennels, play areas, and facility spaces
• Feed, water, and provide attentive daily care to all dogs
• Assist with boarding drop-offs and pick-ups
• Support basic bathing and grooming tasks as needed

Qualifications:
• Must be 18 years or older
• Valid driver’s license required
• Comfortable handling dogs of all sizes and temperaments
• Ability to stay active and on your feet for extended periods
• Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently

🐾 Meet Emily! 🐾

Emily joined The Dog Inn because of her love for dogs and to further her experience working with them. She’s been around dogs her whole life and started working in kennels and volunteering at shelters about 5 years ago. Her friends would describe her as funny, colorful, and excitable.

If Emily were a dog breed: Australian Shepherd — energetic, goofy, and very attached to their people.
Her dog: A German Shepherd mix named Ricky, who’s goofy, a little crazy, and always wanting to learn something new.
Her go-to way to win a dog over: A ball — you can never go wrong with one! 🎾
Can’t-live-without on busy kennel days: An Iced Vanilla Berry Red Bull.

Working with dogs has taught Emily patience, to stay alert, and how to have fun. Her favorite time of year at The Dog Inn is summer; longer days, more sun, and lots of fun with the pups.

The thing that always makes her smile at work? All the goofy, crazy dogs that never fail to make her laugh. 🐶
