Today we got nicer weather and the littles disappeared for about three hours! Then as I was standing outside in the sun.. little feets appeared 😍

EXACTLY!!!

If you're mad about wildlife getting your chickens, be mad at yourself not wildlife and not us.

It's your responsibility, and no one else's, to protect your animals. Predator proofing your chicken coops is a core part of responsible animal ownership. Failure to do so will result in negative wildlife conflicts. Not because wildlife are "bad" or "evil" but because you are inviting them to a buffet.

If you love your chickens, protect them by proactively predator proofing their coops. It's that simple.

With all the rain and cold we’re having to find new games to keep us out of trouble. This is the most popular for the little-littles right now 😍
I sit on my little stool and we play up and down 🙄

Plus he’s hysterical! 🤭❤️🦝❤️

We didn’t have enough chaos in our lives, so we adopted a baby raccoon. He has a permit, not rabies

Mouse is my little hip baby 🤣 Anytime I’m cooking or washing dishes or doing ANYTHING on the counters she’s literally sitting on my hip or fore arm watching it all. She never grabs stuff, just watches. If I’m cooking and she wants to taste she’ll touch my chin or lips and I’ll grab a spoon to give her a taste and set it on the floor. She’s such a polite little girl most of the time 😍❤️🦝❤️😍

Cat and Mouse
Est to be about 10 weeks old.
These little ‘angels’ are so much farther along in development then any of the babies I’ve had in the past. Can’t really pin point why, but 🤷‍♀️
Cat self weaned off the bottle about two weeks ago but I continue to give her some by bowl to make sure she’s getting the vitamins she needs. Both babies have been eating puppy food since before enough of their teeth were in to chew them 🤣 Cat will eat most anything I’m eating, or at least give a honest try 🫢 Mouse is pickier but at least plays with most things.
Wicked independent but will come running and trilling if scared ❤️
Their athleticism is off the charts in development for their age. I was even out last night in the pouring rain trying to get Mouse off the roof while she played ‘attack’ the momma 🤣 And her leap would have even Truffles jealous!!
So proud of these girls! They are going to make an amazing wild life for themselves come spring ❤️🦝❤️

HOW IS THIS EVEN COMFORTABLE??? 🤣❤️🦝❤️
Cat is out cold and Mouse isn’t far behind her ❤️ Today was busy! In the morning, three hours outside followed by a short nap. This afternoon was two hours in the outdoor enclosure with Pepper the skunk followed by a half hour of down time in their kennel and then three more hours of nighttime outside free time .. we have two pooped out babies 😍
