Weeds are relentless this time of year—even on the beach! This project included pulling weeds, picking up sticks and seaweed, and raking away debris to give the beach a fresh, clean look.

A little maintenance goes a long way! The beach is looking refreshed and ready to head into fall. 🍂

It was a great day to sponsor and support the Lake Poinsett Association’s 4th Annual Golf Tournament! It was a fantastic time spending the day with clients, good friends, and fellow supporters of the Lake Poinsett community.

Who would have ever anticipated—or covered up—this beautiful butcher block top?! 😍

This is what I discovered after sanding down the top of this kitchen table. Sometimes the beauty is hiding just beneath the surface!

No stain required—just a little TLC and a few protective top coats to bring this beautiful piece back to life. ❤️

Constructing a custom access stairway down a steep hill to Lake Albert!

This one has taken plenty of planning, with some serious math and geometry to calculate the ideal step count, spacing, and angles for a safe, durable decent.

We are kicking off in August and we can’t wait to share the finished result. Stay tuned to see the final step count.

This work will couple as daily workout!

A wonderful client of ours gifted us this youth-sized picnic table for our grandson to enjoy. I gave it a thorough sanding, stained the tabletop and benches, and finished the base with a sleek flat black paint.

The finished piece looks right at home on the porch of our modern farmhouse.

🏡 Lakehouse Services | Featured Project: Bedroom End Table Revitalization

One of the biggest challenges with this project was transforming two completely different end tables—different shapes, wood types, and finishes—into a matching set for a bedroom.

We sanded and refinished the tops with a rich dark stain, painted both bases in a beautiful dark gray, and completed the look with antique copper hardware and elegant floral drawer liners.

It's always rewarding to take mismatched furniture and give it a fresh, cohesive look that fits perfectly in its new home.

Featured Project: Covered Hot Tub

At Lakehouse Services, every project is about creating practical solutions that last.

For this project, our goal was to keep water from dripping onto the hot tub located beneath the deck. We installed a custom drainage system using plywood with a durable FRP (Fiberglass Reinforced Plastic) finish, then added corrugated panels secured to treated board to create positive drainage and direct water away from the space below.

The result is a cleaner, drier, and more enjoyable hot tub area that's better protected from the elements
