**Orders through June 1 are in the mail**

Hi everyone. The grinder broke once again, after three batches… but I finally found an unused set of medium burrs for the big mill. The burrs we purchased for Avian Health Shake are fine burrs but the shake turned out good running it through twice on the medium.

Before using the medium burrs I made silicone molds of them so when needed I can have a foundry help make replacements. This ended up taking by several days to get a good mold due to cure time and I made a two part mold. I did not want to touch those medium burrs until a mold was made after going without and searching for new burrs for so long.

Because the mill had not been used in over two years it was given a thorough cleaning and lubrication before it was started back up and I ran through a bag of corn first as a cleaning measure also. My pigs enjoyed the corn!

Ultimately it would be nice to have fine burrs again for time reasons. I am happy with these right now though cause 90 min of grinding is better than the 6 plus hours it was taking with commercial spice grinders for a batch and the strain on my body that caused.

Anyhow things are greatly looking up for Avian Health Shake. More shake will be made tomorrow, wait times will be much more normal now, the mill itself has never had any operating issues except when the burrs wore out and those are a part that needs replacing as part of normal maintenance.

I am having to work a second job to make ends meet 6 days a week and I am still undergoing medical treatment for the last car accident I was in at the end of last year.

Avian Health Shake status!

Orders are starting to get out faster as I am getting help! Today orders through though April 19th (except one I was just shy of having enough made up for) are being shipped. I have just 10 orders in the queue now so good time to get your orders in.

I’m still having medical and therapy appointments for my shoulder injury but due to having help things are looking up for order fulfillment and finally being able to get a break to heal.

Due to Aimee and I both having to work second jobs to make ends meet the best way to communicate about order status is to directly text me at (503) 332-6956. We are both working our secibd jobs a crazy amount of hours… texts on this number will grab my attention.

Hi all,

I have been making Avian Health Shake the last two days and taking a bunch to the post office today. I am still injured, I am doing my absolute best without injuring myself further. I am having multiple medical and therapy appointments each week for my rotator cuff injury. This week I had more injections and was told I couldn’t make feed for at minimum 48 hours after the injections.

I am sorry I am so far behind. I don’t have help making feed so an injury this bad has been very challenging. Your orders are not forgotten. I’m doing my best and order EARLY, as I am dealing with trying to heal from this. The injury occurred due to a car accident, someone ran a light and T-boned me.

Avian Health Shake order status:

Hi all! Orders including some from the 26th are shipping today.
I am running 10-14 days behind right now. If the order is an emergency please message Aimee in messenger or text me at 503-332-6956.

As I mentioned before I was T-boned at the end of last year and have a shoulder injury from it and it has taken a turn for the worse. I started PRP Therapy this week and because of that I can't use NSAIDS for the next 8 weeks which is a HUGE issue because I have musculoskeletal issues I have been medicated for since childhood.

I have help on Monday making shake and I am still doing my best but my speed is cut in half due to pain issues. I also have had to miss a lot work time with my second source if income which has left me greatly struggling to make ends meet. The rest of today and tomorrow I will focus on the and hope to be able to manage. Being self employed and doing gig work I have no sick pay or PTO.

As far as my shoulder issue they are learning towards a rotator cuff issue so I will have to get more imaging soon.
