Feels good to be putting away all those crates, knowing fire season is winding down.

Thanks to our team of trained regular volunteers for carrying and stacking dozens of crates.

After surgery for neuter, hernia, and ingrown toenails, Gus is a much happier dog, no longer in pain. His human had lost their home, but now Gus has a new family. He has room to roam and his own chair in a warm house.

Thanks donors for making it possible for us to help Gus. Thank you Sandy and family for adopting Gus.

Mr Duck was found abandoned at a park a month ago. Thanks to Kayti, a kind woman who rescued him and kept him safe. It's easier to just walk away, but thanks to Kayti, the duck now has a safe, new home complete with other duck friends and a pond.

Many thanks to Janette for adopting Mr Duck.
