This is Gilbert my special needs boy. He eats well but has a hard time walking any distance. I rescued him last year. Vet initially thought he had a fractured humerus but he didn’t. He has what we call in TCM Wandering Bi. His aches move around. He’s very sweet. He’s on herbs, supplements, and a pain reliever. "Bobbie" Original Acrylic on canvas by Helen Raptis. 16x16. We rescued Bobbie along with her sister Raelyn a few years back. They had been living in a 5x8 building with no windows just a door that opened to a mud pit. They were fed only corn. The owner was a good but very overwhelmed man. We rescued several animals there that day. The goaties had to be carried out. Rae had pneumonia. They both recovered but Raelynn's lungs didn't support her but for a couple of years. Bobbie loves it here. She's the smallest of the Nigerians but she holds her own.
