As we near completion of the 1st phase here, officially open 1 year now...as many of you know I have been busier than ever expected this fast into a new business. Expantion planned and adding 6 more double kennels in the spring. (probably before we break ground and do the Dog Spa)
This is me asking you dog parents, and parents of kids at ESKO school...how you feel about kids volunteering here 1-2 hours during school? I was contacted by the school to see if id be willing to do this. I absolutely would love to make our facility available and let kids see what goes on here, but I want some parents input. I run a clean, safe boarding facility...but there are days I'll have 20 dogs here and what if, one day...a volunteer student gets nipped, or bit...I dont want a bad light shed on our business. In a year open...not 1 dog fight, not 1 bite...but they are dogs. I do not take PITBULLS...its an insurance thing...but ANY dog could not like something one day and act up, a waiver would have to be signed im sure(will check with insurance)...but what a great experience and opportunity I think this would be for some students...would appreciate ANY AND ALL THOUGHTS.
