Biological fulfillment isnât a luxuryâitâs a necessity.
Many behavior problems arenât rooted in disobedience. Theyâre rooted in unmet needs.
Dogs were bred for a purpose. Herding dogs want to move, retrievers want to carry, terriers want to hunt, guardians want to observe and patrol. While we may not use them for their original jobs, we can give them healthy outlets that satisfy those natural instincts.
A dog whose physical, mental, and instinctual needs are being met is often calmer, more engaged, and better able to learn. Training teaches skills. Biological fulfillment helps create a dog who is actually capable of using those skills. ______________________________________________
