If you are interested in watching what Border Collies were bred for, the Bluegrass Classic in Lexington is currently happening through the weekend. This is a prestigious sheep dog trial event that draws people and dogs from all over the country. This event is free to spectators. There will be an announcer on Saturday and Sunday to give commentary. More information at the link.

Congratulations to Fred, Jovie, Stobie, and Oni for passing their Canine Good Citizen Test. They all did a great job!

We are looking to offer an upcoming Canine Good Citizen Urban this summer. Once your dog has passed their CGC, then they are eligible to test for their Community Canine (CGCA) and Canine Good Citizen Urban (CGCU). You can test either of these in either order.

Today is National Therapy Animal Day! This is a day designated to celebrate therapy dogs who provide joy, smiles, and comfort. We have been lucky to have had two therapy dogs - Tovah and Earl who were registered and certified with Alliance of Therapy Dogs. Both were also K9 Crisis Dogs through HOPE AACR as well. Hopefully, Lena will join the tradition.

Interested in learning shed hunting with your dog? This is where you teach your dog to find antlers. Cross Creek in New Richmond, OH is holding an informational clinic, practice, and forming a club. More info in the post.

This is also one location where you can learn dock diving as well. The dock opens May 11th. Check the post before this one on information.
