I’ve learned that music has a way of making animals feel safe and at ease, especially when they’re missing their people or feeling a little anxious. A soft song can be the comfort they didn’t know they needed, and sharing that with them has been one of the sweetest gifts of all. Around here, it’s more than just pet sitting — it’s offering love, presence, and a song or two to keep their hearts light until you’re back home.

A little end-of-year update from the crazy lady that loves dogs so much, she made a career out of hanging out with them!

As my business has grown, I’ve learned SO much about what this work really looks like - the time, the flexibility, the different needs of every household, and all the little things that go into giving your pets the best care possible.

I wanted to share a little more about what I offer, what you can expect from me, and a few changes I’m making for 2027. My goal is to create a pricing structure that better reflects the time and care each stay requires, while offering different options for different pets and their needs.

I’m always learning as I go, and I want to be transparent with you along the way. My intention isn’t to keep changing things every year, but to build a sustainable business that lets me keep doing what I love without burning myself out.

And to my regular clients: please don’t panic or make assumptions before talking to me! 😂 I appreciate every single one of you and the trust you’ve placed in me. If you have questions about how the 2027 pricing updates might affect you, just reach out to me (you can text me!).

Thank you for supporting my growing business, trusting me with your babies and your homes, and allowing me to make a full-time career out of loving on your animals. I’ve been reveling in gratitude lately, feeling truly so lucky that this is my job.

One of my favorite things about Gooby is how much he enjoys just sitting and taking it all in.

He reminds me to slow down and remember how much beauty is all around us, every day.

Gooby and I have a very special bond since we spend so much time together. His mom and I joke that I should just move in because of how much I’m here. I’m grateful for every single day I get to spend with Gooby, right by the lake. It’s SUCH a gift.

It can be really challenging going from house to house, adjusting to different routines constantly.

If there’s anything I’ve learned since making pet care my main focus, it’s the importance of appreciating the love that you have in your life while it’s still here.

If you’re a pet owner or pet lover, you know that time is fleeting. This actually goes for human relationships too. We always look back wishing we were more present, wishing that we listened more, wishing that we had just a little more time.

Caring for pets teaches me what a gift it is to be trusted (by both animals and their humans). Pet sitting isn’t just feeding a dog and letting them outside - it’s building trust, it’s forming a bond, it’s recognizing patterns, it’s being patient and constantly observing + so much more.

When I watch your dogs, I truly fall in love with them. They become like family to me.

Thank you all for allowing me to love your animals while you’re away. 💛💛💛

Lenny’s mom deserves all of the credit for helping him to heal over the last 4 years… I’m just lucky enough that she picked me to be his caretaker while she’s away. I would go to WAR for him.

This creature is gentle, sensitive, cuddly, hilarious, loving, loyal, and unbelievably sweet. He is trusting, even after being hurt, badly. It’s a reminder for all of us that it’s possible to heal and trust again. ❤️‍🩹

My heart has been bursting. I’m so in love with this dog, guys 😭😭😭

Lenny gets his diaper changed every morning, a few times in the afternoon/early evening, and before bed.

He is very used to the process and handles it like a champ. I’ve learned his signals for when he needs to p**p, which is usually right on schedule, so it’s pretty easy to be able to catch it with zero messes.

It’s crazy how it doesn’t bother me at all to change a dogs diaper and have him literally 💩 in a baby wipe in my hand… hahaha.

The unconditional love I carry for dogs (especially pitties) is what landed me in this work. 💛

I am so impressed by Lenny’s resilience. He is so strong yet still so gentle, despite the horrors he experienced.

I am so lucky that I get to love him and care for him and his brother Rocky while their mom is away. 🥹
