🐾 Important Closure Notice 🐾

Orphan Angels Cat Clinic will be closed September 14–17 and will reopen for normal business hours on Monday, September 21.

Need a medication refill? Please request it the week before our closure.

Voicemails, messages, and emails will be checked periodically, but responses may be delayed.

For emergencies, please contact another local veterinary hospital or a 24/7 emergency facility, such as Northwest Pet Emergency Center, Metropolitan Veterinary Hospital in Akron, Pittsburgh BluePearl, or Orchard Park Veterinary Medical Center.

Beans recently came to the Orphan Angels Cat Clinic for a second opinion, and we're so happy we got to meet this sweet, incredibly handsome boy. Especially looking so dapper in his little bow tie! Together with his dedicated owner, we’re making sure to carefully develop a new treatment plan that includes trying a different course of antibiotics while focusing on what matters most, keeping Beans comfortable and giving him the best possible quality of life.

Every cat deserves individualized care, and we're grateful to partner with owners who are committed to doing everything they can for their furry family members. We can't wait to see how Beans does on his new plan. Please join us in wishing this handsome little guy all the best! ❤️

Today looked a little different at Orphan Angels Cat Clinic. Exams moved to the waiting room for natural light, and thanks to our amazing volunteers, we had battery-powered lights and a portable generator to keep our bloodwork machines running and an IV pump going for a critical patient. ❤️

We have been without power, internet, and phones all day so if you’ve been trying to reach us, we apologize for the delay. Thank you to all of our patients and clients for your patience and understanding as we rolled with the unexpected. We expect power to be restored by tomorrow morning and look forward to getting back to business as usual!

Today we got to meet an entire litter of pure cuteness! 🩷
These kittens received their first FVRCP vaccine, tested negative for feline leukemia, were dewormed, and treated for fleas. Even better, their mom will be spayed and receive preventative care too!
Their caregiver didn't ask for kittens. A stray chose their window well to have her babies. Instead of turning away, or attempting to drop them off at a shelter, already full, they chose to help.
As adorable as these kittens are, shelters and rescues can't keep up with the number of homeless cats. It truly takes a community. By spaying mom and giving these kittens a healthy start, this family is helping prevent overpopulation, reduce disease, and stop unnecessary suffering.
Every person who chooses to help is part of the solution. ❤️

Patient Spotlight! ✨

Meet Louie! This little man came to us with an eye infection gone horribly wrong. It was so swollen and painful the only choice was to enucleate (surgically remove) the eye before it ruptured. The surgery went great and he woke up feeling better than ever! Louie came in today for his suture removal and enjoyed some Churu for being such a brave boy! We are so happy he is feeling better and can get back to being a happy healthy kitten!
