Today’s Veterinary Technician Week spotlight celebrates Chelsea and Shaun!

Chelsea has been with Wintergreen for a year. She brings a calm presence with her on a daily basis. Her knowledge and compassion with handling/restraint helps our patients feel more at ease. We appreciate her always looking out for her teammates! She helps out wherever needed and is always ready to jump in and utilize her skills or give lots of cuddles and kisses!

Shaun has been part of our team for six months. He has prior experience in emergency and surgery. He brings with him quick thinking, attention to detail and a large knowledge base and skill set. We appreciate the light-heartedness and humor he brings to each day, along with the care and love he shows each patient. His blood drawing skills are top notch!

We’re lucky to have both Shaun and Chelsea on our team!🐾🎉

Today, for National Veterinary Technician Week, we’re celebrating Julie and Ashley, both certified technicians!

Julie, our head tech, has been part of Wintergreen Animal Hospital for 27 years, bringing incredible dedication to every patient—and a special touch, especially with anxious kitties. Her knowledge is highly valued and respected and we love having her on our team!

Ashley, our head surgery tech, has been part of Wintergreen for 2 years. She brings years of experience, thoughtful attention to detail, and plenty of love (and treats) for each patient. We appreciate her love for teaching and sharing her advanced skill set with the team!

National Veterinary Technician Week is a wonderful time to celebrate all of our awesome technicians!

Today we spotlight Elise and Jenn, both certified technicians!

Elise brings positivity, creativity, and compassion to her role as our manager. After 5 years with us, she keeps things running and shares her passion for dentistry every day.

Jenn has cared for our patients and clients with her big heart for 16 years. She is one of the front faces of the hospital and welcomes every patient/client with compassion and love.

Elise and Jenn both bring years of knowledge and skills to the hospital. We are so grateful for each of them!

Meet Leo! After surgery to remove a sock he’d swallowed, he’s back to his energetic self. During recovery, he wore protective eyewear for a laser therapy treatment to support healing at his surgical site. We’re so happy to see him doing well!
