🌟 June Volunteers of the Month: Sarah & Aiden 🌟

Congratulations to Sarah and Aiden, our June Volunteers of the Month!

Sarah and Aiden are our dedicated Sunday evening care shift team. Week after week, they show up with smiles, ready to help care for our shelter cats. They faithfully handle feeding, administer medications, clean, take out the trash, and tackle whatever tasks need to be done. Most importantly, they make sure our cats receive plenty of love and attention along the way.

Their consistency, compassion, and willingness to help wherever needed make a tremendous difference to both our cats and our team. We are incredibly grateful for their dedication and commitment to Erie Animal Network’s mission.

Thank you, Sarah and Aiden, for all that you do. We appreciate you both more than words can say! 🤩

Open tonight from 6-8pm!

Cuteness alert!! Come see these two during open hours tonight ( Thursday ) from 6-8pm!

Frangine and Sorella are the sweetest, most gentle kittens! They were found out in rural West County when they showed up with their very skittish mom on a networker’s porch. Plans were quickly made to work on getting the mom TNR’d and getting these cuties into safety and away from the dangers of trying to survive in rural areas where they are at risk of predators.

Although a bit shy at first, these sweet girls soon settled into foster and once they discovered the magic of Churus, they melted into affectionate puddles!

Now at our center, Frangine and Sorella can be found lounging in their favorite soft and cozy spots, playing with kitty friends, or seeking out cuddles from our volunteers. They are so lovely and will add such love and joy to a happy home.

If that home could be yours, you can apply to adopt on our website and visit during any of our open hours! Want a private meet and greet of our schedule doesn’t work for you? Get your application in and we’ll gladly set up an appointment for you. Both girls are combo test negative, fully vaccinated, spayed and parasite treated. All of our adoptions come with 2 weeks post adoption health support and a no shame return policy in the rare case that it’s not the purrfect match.

Thank you Lynn!!! 🤩

🌟 March Volunteer of the Month: Lynn 🌟

Our Sunday mornings wouldn’t be the same without Lynn! As a dedicated member of our cleaning crew, she prepares the floors, sanitizes every surface, keeps the laundry moving, and tackles the many behind-the-scenes cat chores that keep our shelter running smoothly. Because of Lynn, everything is ready before open hours begin — safe, welcoming, and spotless for the many little paws that walk through each day.

Her kindness goes far beyond her shift. Lynn is always the first to donate when there’s a need — and when our laundry room was under construction, she went the extra mile by bringing in clean hot water from home to ensure our floors were still properly sanitized. That level of commitment speaks volumes.

Lynn’s compassion doesn’t stop at our doors. She supports other organizations in the community, is a knowledgeable dog expert, and organizes community dog walks to bring people (and pups!) together. Her dedication to animal welfare stretches far beyond one building — it’s truly a lifestyle.

Lynn, your heart, reliability, and willingness to jump in wherever needed make a real difference for the cats in our care. We are so grateful for the love and consistency you bring to Erie Animal Network each and every week.

Volunteers like Lynn are the reason rescue works. 💛🐾
