🐾 🌟 September Volunteer of the Month: Addi! 🌟 🐾

This month, we are so excited to recognize Addi as Erie Animal Network’s September Volunteer of the Month! ❤️🐱

Addi first joined us as a junior volunteer alongside her mom, and over the years, she has grown into an absolutely invaluable member of the EAN team. She is always willing to jump in wherever she’s needed—and she’s definitely not afraid to get her hands dirty!

Addi is our number one assistant on vet tech days, helping make sure all the cats have the most comfortable and successful experience possible. From helping with care shifts at the shelter to jumping into on-the-street rescue situations, she is always ready to lend a hand when cats need her most. 🐾

Animal rescue is truly a family affair for Addi! Her family also opens their home to foster cats and kittens, giving them a safe, loving place to land while they wait for their forever homes. The care and compassion Addi and her family have given to so many animals has made a tremendous difference. ❤️

Recently, Addi has also stepped up in a major way to help EAN with our social media presence, creating entertaining videos, posts, and reels that help showcase our rescue and the cats we work so hard to save!

As Addi heads off to college this fall, we want to wish her the very best during her first year! 🎓❤️ We are going to miss her SO much, but we can’t wait to welcome her back when she returns!

Thank you, Addi, for everything you do for Erie Animal Network and for the countless cats you’ve helped along the way. We are so proud of you and incredibly grateful to have you as part of our team!

There is just something special about a gorgeous black tomcat with a splash of white on the chest.

Pepper is the perfect combination of handsome, debonair, and total playful goofball! He’s one of our longer residents and we are so hopeful that he’ll find his very own family soon. Pepper loves toys that make sounds and plays as if he’s a kitten. He also loves attention, but is independent enough that if you’re gone for work all day he’ll happily lounge around until you get home.

Pepper is combo test negative, fully vetted, and ready to meet you during our extended Clear the Shelters hours until 4pm today!

This absolutely gorgeous Siamese mix was rescued from the woods in a nearby trailer court. She’s a snuggly ball of purring love and we can’t wait for you to meet her! She’s here at our adoption center for meet and greets during during our extended Clear The Shelter hours. We’re here until 4pm!

After today she’ll return to her amazing foster home waiting for her final FVRCP vaccine, spay, and rabies vaccine! Then she’ll be ready for her forever home!
