Raising Weimaraners has been a labor of love for more than two decades. 🩶

Our journey with the breed began in 2001, with our breeding program established in 2005. Since then, our focus has remained the same: raising happy, healthy, well-socialized puppies that adhere to AKC standards.

We’re proud of the generations of Grey Ghosts—and families—that have become part of the Shade of Grey story along the way. 🐾

Weimaraners aren’t exactly known for keeping their distance. 😉🩶

Human interaction is incredibly important to this loyal, people-oriented breed. Weims are intelligent, eager to learn, and known for forming strong bonds with their families.

They require plenty of time, exercise, stimulation, and companionship—but for the right family, that devotion is one of the best parts of loving a Weimaraner. 🐾

More than just a reunion. It's a family brought together by a shared love for one incredible breed. 🩶🐾

Seeing so many familiar faces, happy dogs, and families we've had the privilege of connecting with over the years means more than words can say.

A little extra recognition for some very special SOG families!

At this year’s reunion, we handed out a few special prizes to celebrate some of the amazing people who make this tradition so meaningful!

🏆 10 for 10! A huge shoutout to Kris & Jill and Frank & Colleen, who have attended ALL 10 SOG reunions! Talk about dedication! 🥹🩶

🚗 The Extra Mile Award! Congratulations to Jessica, who traveled all the way from Boston, Massachusetts, to celebrate with us!

It’s people like these, and all of our wonderful SOG families, who make this reunion so much more than just an event. It’s a tradition filled with friendships, memories, and a shared love for Weimaraners.

Thank you for being such a special part of the Shade of Grey family! 🩶

What an incredible day for the 2026 SOG Weim Reunion! 🩶🐾🎉

With around 120 people and 75 Weimaraners joining us, this was our BIGGEST reunion yet! 🥳

We couldn’t have asked for better weather or a better group of people and pups to spend the day with. So many smiling faces, wagging tails, and wonderful memories made!

It’s truly a blessing to be surrounded by so many people who share our love for this incredible breed. 🩶

THANK YOU to everyone who came out and made this year’s reunion so special! We can’t wait to do it again! 🐾

Weimaraners were made to MOVE. 🌿🐾

Our dogs have access to a fully fenced 20-acre area where they have plenty of room to explore, exercise, play, and train.

For an energetic and athletic breed like the Weimaraner, regular exercise and mental stimulation are incredibly important—and we’re fortunate to have plenty of space for both. 🩶
