Dun the Right Way Horses-Custom Horse Training

Up early 5 am on the road to Grande Rhonde Oregon where we delivered Spitz the 4 year old Friesian TB cross mare to her new owner. The sweetness was being able to see Susan's eyes on her real horse. She had been taken by scammers trying to get her dream horse. While Susan was coming her granddaughter who has never seen a horse in person or touched one was able to meet Spitz and pet her, give her treats. I think granddaughter approved of the new horse!

Sassy and Knick head back to their home Sunday. Gotta love ❤️ horse days! NOT Traffic

Thinking of downsizing...

This means selling horses.. mares in foal, Chex bred mares, and even some riding horses. They are for sale... NOT ON SALE!

This life change is not about giving away what I have worked hard for and built as a dream it is moving on.

These horses are my pride and joy and again they are being offered not because I have to.

I am beyond RPOUD of this young man-Jack.

Jack wanted to ride and spent so much time with his dad while his dad trained horses, his dad had given him the ability to ride a mule- short mule to boot. I had a son of Chex standing at home that could use some riding, so I offered this young man Trooper. Trooper is a Chex baby that he was born at Idaho Equine and his mom passed he came home alone and was put on a nurse mare, and grew like a normal baby, we sold him and I had kept track of him until at some point and his brand was spotted at an auction in Eugene, and thankfully another family who had a Chex baby was close enough and willing to buy him and took him home. Her daughter showed him and rode him from a while but then life changed and Trooper came home. Now Trooper has his boy! A Boy and a Horses... I am super proud of this young man for his love of horses, dedication and love his gives Trooper, they have come a long ways together. To the years ahead and the memories coming.

Today is National day of the Cowgirl!

Long live Cowgirls!!!!

I am so blessed to have been raised in a family that believed girls should ride and from my grandpa who gifted me my first horse Muggins to my mom who kept the passion alive everyday. To my dad who even though he hates horses to this day never said no, and meant it! Lol

And the most amazing husband who has always supported the crazy wife with a few too many horses... we don't count how many.

Best of all was the ability to pass the passion, love and respect for horses and the western lifestyle to my Cowgirl who once was just a little girl with big dreams who's now a Cowgirl with big dreams and drive to reach the stars.

When I am so busy I can't even get to ride my own horse but honored someone who gets excited to ride the hippo!

And on top of it she was riding in the worse storm of the day- it even hailed.
