Rabies is a fatal virus that affects both animals and humans! The good news is it's completely preventable with vaccination. Rabies is a virus that affects the nervous system and can be spread through bites or scratches from an infected animal. Wildlife like raccoons, skunks, foxes, and bats can all carry rabies, and it's possible for your pet to have an unexpected encounter. Alabama law requires all dogs and cats to be vaccinated against rabies by a licensed veterinarian starting at 12 weeks of age.

If your pet is due for their rabies vaccine, give us a call to get them scheduled! We also offer Annual Vaccine Packages!

Pet Urgent Care of Enterprise is excited to share that we’ll now be open Wednesdays from 9am–6pm to offer scheduled surgeries, urgent/short-notice surgical procedures, and call-ahead appointment needs.

We’ll also accept walk-ins and sick visits after 1pm on Wednesdays.

Our goal is to help support our local veterinary community and provide pet owners with timely access to both elective/routine and non-elective surgical procedures. Please remember to call ahead for all surgeries or procedures.
