Hey?! Remember us?! 😆
We’re still here and working behind the scenes with the dogs currently in care.

That brings us to Chuck ❤️

We recently made an exception for him as his owner had already been approved to adopt from us. We couldn’t find the right fit at the time, which happens, but Chuck found a great home there instead. When his owner became too ill to care for Chuck any longer the family reached out for help. It was the last act of kindness and care Chucks owner was able to give.

We estimate Chuck to be around 2 years old and still has some puppy behaviors. He’s adjusting to his new foster home and learning to love again 🥰.

He still needs to learn more socialization skills but did great at his last vet appointment.

Now for the real truth part: Our funds are VERY low! We are still working to get our last dogs in care adopted and we are still providing for their needs such as heartworm prevention, vaccines, etc.

We REALLY need your help to continue this mission all while organizing our mission going forward.

We need to raise $5,000 to have a stable amount in our account in the event of any unexpected expenses as well as regular needs.

Chuck is asking that you don’t forget him and his friends and continue to support us during this time of transition.

HEY!!! Remember me? It’s Sugarplum!! I just turned a whole year old, and I’m still looking for my forever home!

Sugarplum is a delight of a dog. She is a little different, a little special, and a WHOLE lot to love. Here’s what we know for sure:

- Sugarplum is GREAT with other dogs of all kinds. She is a rare case where we would recommend she go to a home that already has SEVERAL other dogs, as she can focus intently on just one and annoy them or stress them out. Currently, she’s doing amazing in large play groups with dogs of all shapes and sizes!

- She’s not sure what stairs are, but she’s shown potential to learn.

- Cats are a maybe. If they’re dog-savvy and won’t run, they should be fine, but we don’t know 100% for sure.

- She has grown and healed to the point where not much has to be done differently as far as caring for and feeding her. She does NOT require a Bailey chair or any other upright feeder to eat, and she doesn’t require liquid meals either! Just an elevated feeder will do her perfectly fine.

- She loves to be outside and she is obsessed with water.

- This girl ain’t afraid of NOTHIN. She doesn’t know there’s anything different about her from any other dog.

- Once she’s worn herself out, she sleeps through the night in the crate just fine without a peep. As far as tiny velociraptors go, she’s pretty easy as long as she gets exercise and plenty of stimulation throughout the day.

This sweet girl is a tiny little package with a big personality and a ton of love and laughter to give. She meshes seamlessly with most packs and can play for hours or entertain herself.
