We are seeking someone who is passionate about horses, enjoys teaching, and wants to be an active part of a growing hunter/jumper program.

Responsibilities include:
• Teaching hunter/jumper lessons to a variety of ages and skill levels
• Training and schooling client horses
• Helping prepare horses and riders for shows
• Providing thoughtful, consistent, riding/training
• Assisting with day-to-day training and lesson program needs with occasional barn work
• Communicating professionally with clients and contributing to a positive barn environment
• Helping with general barn and program responsibilities as needed

The ideal candidate:
• Has strong hunter/jumper experience and knowledge
• Is confident teaching lessons independently
• Is a capable, effective, confident rider
• Has experience schooling a variety of horses and can confidently jump a course
• Is reliable, professional, and self-motivated
• Has excellent horsemanship and attention to detail
• Enjoys working with both horses and people
• Is willing to work weekends and show days as needed

The old soul type everyone is looking for. 🤎

Large bay roan Quarter Pony mare, recently turned 5, with a brain well beyond her years.

This girl is incredibly versatile. she can happily jog around with the smaller kids and then step it up and keep up with the more experienced riders. She is the easy type that makes her a pleasure to have around.

Currently coursing 2’, never stops, and has changes. Local show mileage, rides the same off property and goes right in the ring. Hope regularly plays in my lesson program, has lots of trail miles, schools cross-country, and is game to do whatever is asked of her.

Madyson Equestrian is looking to add TWO team members to our program!

We are looking for hardworking, reliable, horse-savvy individuals who want to be part of a positive, professional, and growing hunter/jumper program.

1. FULL-TIME BARN WORKER

The Barn Worker will be responsible for the daily care and management of approximately 16–17 horses.

Responsibilities include:
• Cleaning stalls
• Feeding and watering
• Turning horses in and out
• General barn cleaning and upkeep
• Holding horses for the veterinarian and farrier
• Assisting with daily barn routines and horse care

Requirements:
• Previous horse experience required
• Ability to safely handle a variety of horses
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Reliable, hardworking, and self-motivated
• Strong attention to detail
• Willingness to work weekends and holidays as needed

2. ASSISTANT TRAINER

We are seeking a knowledgeable and motivated Assistant Trainer who is passionate about horses, enjoys teaching, and wants to be an active part of a growing hunter/jumper program.

Responsibilities include:
• Teaching hunter/jumper lessons to a variety of ages and skill levels
• Training and schooling client horses
• Helping develop horses and riders within the program
• Preparing horses and riders for shows
• Providing thoughtful, consistent, and correct riding and training
• Assisting with day-to-day training and lesson program needs
• Occasional barn work as needed
• Communicating professionally with clients
• Contributing to a positive, team-oriented barn environment
• Assisting with general program responsibilities as needed

The ideal candidate:
• Has strong hunter/jumper experience and knowledge
• Is confident teaching lessons independently
• Is a capable, effective, and confident rider
• Has experience schooling a variety of horses
• Can confidently jump a course
• Has excellent horsemanship and attention to detail
• Is reliable, professional, and self-motivated
• Enjoys working with both horses and people
• Is willing to work weekends and show days as needed
