Little miss Piper finally succumbed to the Churu in the carrier shortly after this and is now back at the rescue with the rest of her family. I think she was quite lonely without them.

I’ve not yet been successful in catching Piper to take her back to the rescue. Pushed myself into heat exhaustion this afternoon trying to find and corner her with the only escape route being the carrier. She managed to get around it twice! I’ll try again tomorrow and tonight will continue trying to be her friend.

It’s a sad day. Maya shows signs of ringworm. She likely got it from my foster room. Mama Fluffy and her 3 boys are now back at the rescue to reduce their exposure. I’ll try again in the morning to catch the little girl and take her back. Then I’ll be steaming and disinfecting a couple of times. I’m 99% sure I also have ringworm so will be treating myself and monitoring my furry permanent residents. Rescue can be hard.
