Mascoma Valley Dog Park Supporters We are a non-profit organization dedicated to building and maintaining off-leash recreation areas for dogs and their people in the Upper Valley region.

We built and operate The Shaker Field Dog Park in Enfield, NH. The park is open dawn to dusk daily. The Mascoma Valley Dog Park Supporters (MVDPS) is a non-profit organization dedicated to building and maintaining public off-leash recreation areas for dogs and their people, also known as dog parks, within the Mascoma Valley region of New Hampshire. Although our focus is specifically in the towns of Enfield and Lebanon, our group is comprised of residents from many area towns, making it a truly multi-community collaboration. The Shaker Field Dog Park is located in Enfield on the 2-acre portion of idle field adjacent to the Shaker Recreation Park on Route 4A.

Here is an event we just added to the program for Saturday, July 25, 2026.

If you are a dog owner or a dog lover, this event is for you!

Doggie Olympics - Huse Park - 10 am to 1 pm

The Upper Valley Humane Society brings you the Upper Valley's first ever Doggie Olympics! Leash up your 4-legged Olympian and join us at Huse Park to "go for gold" in events such as Longest Tail, Amateur Agility, Best Trick, Biggest Underbite, and more. Actual talent not required! Donations for the UVHS Pet Supply Pantry are appreciated.

With these warm days, the park will likely be closed starting tomorrow or Wednesday. We generally close during mud season so the grass has a chance to grow. If the temperatures drop back below freezing, we may open up again for a short while until spring has officially arrived.
We need to protect our beautiful grass!

CAUTION! The high traffic areas around the entrances to each park are solid ice right now. If you're coming to the park, please walk very carefully!
After it snows we'll have snow on top of slippery ice, please don't forget to be cautious then as well.
We recommend you stand further out in the parks because dogs tend to play around their owners and we want to be sure they're not slipping on the ice and getting hurt, either.
