Back to School Spotlight: Drop-In Rally!

Want to keep working on your Rally skills without committing to a full class? Come drop in and play!

Rally is such a fun way to keep your dog’s obedience skills sharp while working together as a team. We’ll practice signs, work through courses, troubleshoot anything giving you trouble, and get some full runs in!

This is a great chance to keep building your skills, get some practice before a trial, or just come out and do something fun with your dog. 🐾

🍎 Drop-In Rally starts September 15
⏰ Tuesdays at 6:30 PM
💲 $30 per class

Haven’t taken Intro to Rally? No problem! Set up a private session and we’ll go over the signs, rules, and everything you need to know to get started. Then you can jump right into our drop-in classes!

No need to commit to the whole session — come when you can!

BACK TO SCHOOL SPOTLIGHT: LEVEL 1 MANNERS & LIFE SKILLS! 🍎🐾

Does your dog know “Sit”… unless there's something better to do? Maybe they come when called—as long as there’s nothing more exciting happening. 😂

Level 1 Manners & Life Skills is all about building the foundation for a dog who can listen, communicate, and work with you in the real world.

Over six weeks, we’ll work on everyday skills like stays, recall, leash walking, polite greetings, and more while helping you understand how to teach your dog and continue building those skills at home.

Whether you’re starting from scratch, have an adolescent who seems to have misplaced their education, or just want to brush up on the basics, this is a great place to start!

🎓 What subject would YOUR dog get an A+ in?

If our dogs were headed back to school, we all know they’d have that one subject where they absolutely shine. 😂

For Katie, it would definitely be Hide & Seek! 🔎🐾

She excels at traditional Scent Work, Antler Shed Hunting, and Mantrailing…but her talents don’t stop there. Katie can find every dropped crumb, every hidden bone (much to Jazzy’s dismay 😂), and every piece of ripe fruit in the garden.

If it involves using her nose to find something, she’s an A+ student!

So now we want to know…

BACK TO SCHOOL SPOTLIGHT: PAWSITIVE PUPPY!

Calling all incoming kindergarteners!

New puppy in the house? Those adorable little faces may be cute, but they definitely don’t come with an instruction manual.

Pawsitive Puppy is our 6-week class designed to help you and your puppy start off on the right paw!

We’ll build the foundations for good manners, introduce important life skills, and give your puppy opportunities for positive socialization and exposure to the world around them. We’ll also tackle some of those big puppy-raising questions like potty training, crate training, puppy biting, and more!

Because puppy class isn’t just about teaching them fun tricks — it’s about giving you the tools to help that adorable little monster grow into a confident, well-mannered dog. 🐾

BACK TO SCHOOL SPOTLIGHT: WALK THIS WAY

“Who’s walking who?”

If you’ve ever had someone ask you that while your dog is dragging you down the street… this class might have your name written all over it!

Walk This Way is our 4-week class all about building real-world walking skills you can actually use!

We’ll work on the difference between a relaxed, loose-leash walk and a more formal heel for those moments when you really need your dog close and focused.

Through simple exercises and fun games, you’ll learn how to give your dog more clarity, communicate what you want, and build walking skills that work beyond the training room.

The goal? More enjoyable walks, less frustration, and maybe even becoming the pair everyone else in the neighborhood is jealous of. 😉

Happy National Dog Day!

Today is for the dogs who make us laugh, keep us moving, challenge us, teach us, and somehow manage to take up 90% of the furniture while contributing absolutely nothing toward the mortgage. 😂

Dogs are the reason Scruffy Dog exists, and these four are the heart behind it all. They’ve been my teammates, my teachers, my training partners, my adventure buddies, and always my biggest troublemakers.

Today, give your dogs the extra treat, take the long sniffy walk, throw the ball one more time, or just let them hog the whole couch.

For dogs who have already taken Intro Just for Fun Agility and are familiar with the obstacles. We’ll keep building skills, working sequences, and having FUN!
No 4-week commitment required—just drop in when you can.
$35 per class

🐾 Just for Fun Agility
Agility without the pressure of competition! Learn the obstacles, work through short sequences, and build up to full courses at your own pace. Great for dogs and handlers of all experience levels!
