Our tiny little fighter who survived terrible injuries after getting caught near a car engine… the little girl who went through so much pain but never gave up. 🥺

Well, we have the BEST NEWS! 🎉❤️

When Ruby traveled to NC State for her leg surgery, something beautiful happened. One of the doctors caring for her fell completely in love with her and put in an adoption application! 🥹

And today… OUR RUBY WENT HOME WITH HER NEW FAMILY! 🏡🐾❤️

From a scared, injured kitten fighting to survive… to being loved by the very person who helped her heal. We truly couldn’t have dreamed of a happier ending for this sweet girl.

Ruby, you fought so hard for this life. Now it’s time to enjoy it. No more fighting, little one. You’re home. ❤️🐱

Happy adoption day, Ruby! We love you more than you’ll ever know. ❤️

Thank you to everyone who stopped by the library and visited the EGHS booth today! We loved meeting so many wonderful people and sharing our mission with the community.

A very special thank you to Showtime Canines for their incredible dog show! They gave an amazing performance while proving something we truly believe—every rescue animal deserves a chance to be loved. Every dog in their show was once a rescue, and today they inspired everyone by showing just how incredible second chances can be. ❤️🐾
