Patience is key when training dogs. Remember to build a solid foundation. If the foundation has cracks you will see it later on in advance training.

We have a couple openings in our fall litters if interested.

We couldn’t be more proud of her hard work, dedication, and the way she showed up all week. What an incredible first county fair! We’re so excited to see where this journey takes her.

If I’m a little slow to respond this week, thank you for your patience. It’s Scarlett’s fair week, and I’ll be by her side as she shows her sheep.

She’s spent countless hours in the barn working for this, and these are memories I wouldn’t trade for anything. Thank you for understanding while I soak in every moment.

With the break in the heat today, my mind is already on the start of hunting season. Crisp mornings, changing leaves, and time spent outdoors can’t get here soon enough.

From a baby girl who always wanted to be around the dogs—always out helping train them and care for them—to now showing sheep.

She works her tail off every single day caring for her sheep, grooming them, and putting in the time to train them. Watching her grow into her own person, gain confidence, and find success in the show ring has been so much fun to witness.

The ribbons and banners are great, but seeing her dedication, work ethic, and love for her animals is what makes me the proudest.

P.S. She’s still a dog girl, too.

Prim is the total package 🐾 From hauling in ducks and geese to busting through cover after pheasants, her drive never quits. Don’t let that 44-lb frame fool you—she handles crippled geese like they’re sparrows. And when the hunt’s over? She’s curled up with the kiddos like the gentle girl she is. 💛🦆

This is what we strive for and what we produce in our litters—drive in the field, heart at home.
