We specialize in creating individualized wellness plans that address all of your canine's core needs. I have a bachelors and masters degree in animal science with an minor in animal behavior and equine sciences. I spent two years in grad school teaching animal behavior and modification at Kansas State University as well as completing a 1 year internship at Brookfield Zoo specializing on environmen

tal enrichment programs for exotic animals. I am a certified veterinary technican and have been working for a dog and horse trainer and behaviorist for many years. I completed Extreme K9's trainer's academy and taught private lessons/trained service dogs there, This Able Veteran, k9 Companions and independently. I also worked as a manager for a local no-kill shelter and as a nutritional consultant for Blue Buffalo in the past. A well-balanced dog is a happy dog, and training/proper behavior is just one facet of this balance -- I provide nutritional consultation, custom exercise programs as well as training to create a happy, well balanced canine member of your family. we also train service dogs for PTSD, autism, and general assistance.

I often get asked if we have a rescue or if we take rescue dogs and the answer is yes, we have ONE dedicated rescue spot called "Gunner's spot" named after the first rescue we took in when we arrived on Idaho over a decade ago. We decided to make that spot specifically for high drive working dogs /breeds who often will find themselves in shelters or worse bc people just bite off more than they can chew. Usually this means Gsd, but ocassuonally working hounds and other herding breeds. Sometimes the one spot morphs into two but we are not an full blown rescue per say. That alsaid, if you have a working breed dog you need to regime or needs rehab feel free to reach out and we will see what we can do to help. 🐾🐾
