A LITTLE SHOP UPDATE!

Things are moving right along in the shop! All of my archery deer are officially mounted, and I’ll be starting on my bear within the next few days! I’m excited to keep working through the season’s harvests and bringing everyone’s memories to life.

Thank you all so much for your patience, support, and for trusting me with your trophies. It truly means a lot to be a small part of your hunting stories and memories! 🧡

Good luck and stay safe to everyone still out there chasing that next big one! 🏹🍁

Also check out this handsome guy! I love the light color and the long eye lashes!

If you’re new here, I figured it was time for an introduction! 🤎

I’m the face behind the scenes here at M & Oak Taxidermy, and the hands behind the mounts! From mounting your trophies to answering messages and keeping things running, I’m usually the one you’ll find on the other side of the page.

When I’m not in the shop, I’m busy being a mom to our three kiddos and enjoying the little things in life with my family. We’re happy you’re here, whether you’ve been following us for a while or just found our page! Don’t ever hesitate to reach out with questions or stop by and say hello. We’re always happy to hear from you!

Thanks for being part of M & Oak Taxidermy! 🦌🤎

Bear Update from M & Oak Taxidermy 🐻

We picked up the rest of our fur from the tannery, and the shop is officially full of bears!

These hides are now back in our hands and moving into the next stages of the process. We know everyone is excited to get their mounts and rugs home, and we appreciate the patience while we work through each one.

Congratulations to this young man on his first buck! 🦌

Opening day of Pennsylvania archery season, and he made a great 20-yard shot to take his very first buck!

🦌 The next batch of whitetails are getting prepped for the mounting stand! We’re getting capes ready and can’t wait to bring these bucks back to life. The shop is getting busy, and we’re looking forward to another great season!

And a reminder, squirrel season is officially in! We are currently accepting squirrels for taxidermy, so if you’ve got a special one you’d like preserved, bring it on in!

Message us on Facebook or send us a text! 814-388-1232 with any questions or to get your trophy on the schedule.

Two turkey mounts finished up and ready to display! 🦃

Both are mounted on Piney Hollow Wood Craft cherry hardwood arrowhead plaques, finished with an engraved turkey design. We love being able to pair quality taxidermy with American-made hardwood displays built right here in Pennsylvania. www.pineyhollowwoodcraft.com

Yesterday we officially started working on intakes from last season! 🦌 And of course, I had my little buddy right there beside me, “helping” every step of the way. He may not be doing much work just yet, but he sure makes a pretty great shop assistant! I love that my kids get to grow up around this and see the work that goes into bringing these trophies back to life. A little taxidermy and a whole lot of memories being made. 🤎

It’s been a minute since we’ve posted, but that doesn’t mean we haven’t been busy in the shop!

Here’s a gray fox finished and headed out the door! We always appreciate the trust our customers place in us to preserve these memories, and we’re proud to see each mount come together.

With hunting season getting closer, now’s a great time to start thinking ahead if you’re planning on having your trophy mounted. Thanks to everyone who continues to support M & Oak Taxidermy, we appreciate every one of you!

🦌 We just got this beautiful buck in, and he’s a stunner!
If you’ve got a buck hiding in your freezer, we’re still accepting shoulder mounts, waterfowl and all life-size taxidermy mounts.
Don’t let this season’s trophy stay frozen forever 😉
