🐾💙 We had a very special visitor yesterday! 💙🐾

K9 Pico and his handler, Officer M. A. with the Cuyahoga County Sheriff’s Office, stopped in for his wellness visit! 🐕‍🦺🚔

We are incredibly proud to be entrusted with the veterinary care of many of our local K9 officers. These amazing dogs aren’t just beloved partners—they play an important role in protecting and serving our communities alongside their handlers.

Keeping our K9 officers healthy and ready to do their jobs is a responsibility we take very seriously. From routine wellness care and preventative medicine to being there when they need us most, we are honored to play a small part in caring for those who help keep our communities safe.

Thank you, Officer M. A., for trusting us with K9 Pico’s care—and thank you both for your service! 💙🐾🚔

Our friend Wendy is rolling into the weekend like a true princess! Her dads take her all over their neighborhood and even to go get ice cream in her princess carriage. We hope all of our families have a great weekend, and we would love to see all of their weekend adventures 🛺

🚧 PARKING LOT UPDATE — CHANGE OF PLANS! 🚧

Well… they say “good things come to those who wait,” right? ❤️

Unfortunately, the paving company ran into a few unexpected problems while working on our parking lot. Because of this, Elyria Animal Hospital will now need to be CLOSED tomorrow, Thursday 9/17/26, in addition to Friday 9/18/26.

🐾 We will reopen with normal business hours on Monday, 9/21/26.

We know this is a significant inconvenience, especially for everyone who already had an appointment scheduled. A couple of our staff members will be working tomorrow to call and reschedule all appointments affected by the closure.

We are sincerely sorry for the inconvenience and appreciate your patience as we work through circumstances that are unfortunately outside of our control.

Our doctors and staff are incredibly grateful for everyone’s understanding, patience, and flexibility while this work is completed. ❤️🐾

We’re looking forward to welcoming everyone back Monday — hopefully with a much safer, smoother parking lot! 🚗✨

Thank you for bearing with us!
