We currently have a very handsome Silkie Rooster looking for a flock to call his own. We are hoping this boy doesn't have to wait too long for a home, especially because housing him in a chelter kennel is less than ideal.

Friendship APL is excited to host another low-cost vaccine clinic on October 3rd from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM.

This clinic operates on a first come, first served basis and will be limited to the first 40 animals. Upon arrival, please check in at our side intake door to receive a number. Please be prepared for a wait, as demand is expected to be high.

⭐️SEPTEMBER ADOPTION FEE PROMOTION⭐️
For the entire month of September, first responders and their families will get their adoption fees waived. Just simply let the front desk know you are a first responder or the family of a first responder and we will honor our promotion!

Important Update: New Hours Beginning September 1

Starting September 1, Friendship APL will be adjusting our hours of operation. Our new public hours will be:

Monday: Closed to the Public
Tuesday: 12 PM – 6:30 PM
Wednesday: 12 PM – 6:30 PM
Thursday: 12 PM – 6:30 PM
Friday: 12 PM – 6:30 PM
Saturday: 12 PM – 6:30 PM
Sunday: 12 PM – 3 PM

Please note that these hours reflect when our facility will be open to the public and do not necessarily reflect our staff or volunteer hours.

We know that changes to our hours can impact our community, and we appreciate your understanding and support. This adjustment was made with our staff and the animals in our care at the forefront of our decision.

By allowing our team more dedicated time to focus on the important work that happens behind the scenes, we can better support our staff and ensure that the animals at Friendship APL continue to receive the care, attention and enrichment they deserve.

We are excited to announce that Rafih Auto Group, Mercedes-Benz of North Olmsted, and Porsche North Olmsted have invited Friendship APL to be apart of their Cars in Cleveland event!

The event will take place TODAY from 11am to 3pm at Dave & Buster’s in Westlake! Cars in Cleveland is a family-friendly and 100% FREE event for all visitors. We will be at the event today with adoptable animals and information about our organization! Felicia and our adorable adoptable puppies will be waiting to meet you!

Normally, our GCI Prison Graduates are adopted soon after they graduate, but we still have four amazing graduates patiently waiting for families of their own!

Meet Bella, Edison, Jackson and Rollie — four wonderful dogs who would make fantastic additions to a variety of homes.

Through the GCI program, each of these dogs has received one-on-one training with a handler and has learned basic obedience commands including sit, down, stay, come and heel. But the benefits of the program go far beyond training. Their time with their handlers has allowed us to learn so much about their individual personalities, mannerisms and everyday behaviors — giving potential adopters valuable insight into what makes each dog special.

And there's even more good news: all four are dog friendly!

These deserving graduates have put in the work and are ready for the next step — finding a family to call their own.
