When a dog acts afraid of something or someone u NEVER want to say "It's okay puppy." U are reassuring them that it's okay to be scared. In that moment they feel scared and they interpret it as....."it's okay to be scared."
Which is not the intention of why we, as humans, say this, but dogs don't comprehend the way we do.
What u want to say is....."What is that? Who is that?" Incorporate positivity to the situation, whether its food, treats, toys, or just your presence of CALMNESS, is what they will get "feeding" off of your energy.
Reinforce the inquisitiveness of the dog and curious personality of any puppy to bring out INDEPENDENCE and CONFIDENCE! :)

Went to meet/assess this Handsome guy at Friends of Lorain County Dog Kennel, Inc. today with Hannah Casey

This guy would do GREAT as an only dog in home who gets all the attention! :)
He's SUPER Smart and catches onto commands really well. Has energy so be ready to work with him well!
I will offer one FREE Training Session to the lucky family who decides to welcome "Smokey" into their Family!

Would LOVE to see this guy THRIVE out in the real world! He's a Great dog! ❤️ 💜 💙
