Play!

You can’t just give them the toy… that’s NOT fun.

Have you ever played a game that maybe you weren’t very good at and someone said I’ll let you win.

That takes all the fun out of it if you know you don’t have to try.

Make them work for it.

But not so much it’s impossible to win…

Took Piper some magic De-Skunking shampoo so took advantage of being in Lincoln and dropped in at Adam’s with the girlies for a quick training session in a new place around a new dog and they all did very well.

There is no such thing as competition in this industry. Each trainer is so unique in what they bring to the table, their expertise, etc.
Last Friday we collaborated with Gold Ridge Cognitive Canines to add a little something special for my clients. An Intro to Treiball class.
It was awesome to be able to offer this opportunity to my clients and to support another trainer.
Really fun to get to take a seat (literally) while someone else taught and I got to just soak up the joy of watching everyone work with their dogs instead of teaching 🙂

Little Sugar (my lil teenager) needs some more life exposure so taking a break from board and trains at the moment to get her the work, time and outings she needs to grow up to be a great little helper.
Focusing on private lessons, continued training opportunities for clients and our camp dogs staying over.
Tucker got to tag along and help us get in some miles this morning on the trail.
