Ohana Nui Stables in Elverta, CA is looking for boarders to join our barn family! This facility has undergone a major facelift and many improvements since November after being dormant for several years! We live on-site! ONS is a new facility and business in Elverta! We offer:

Barn Employee Position – Elverta, CA 🐴

We’re looking for a reliable, responsible person or team to join us at our new boarding and training facility in Elverta, CA!We’re in search of someone who enjoys working around horses and would love being part of a positive, friendly, and well-organized barn environment.

This is a great opportunity for someone who takes pride in their work, handles horses well, and appreciates a consistent schedule and an inclusive atmosphere.

🐎 Typical Weekday Schedule:

6:30 AM – Start the day

* Feed all horses
* Clean stalls

Around 8:30 AM:

* Turn out the first rotation of horses to pasture for about 4 hours
* Complete other general barn duties as needed

Mid-Day - 12:30 PM–1:00 PM:

* Bring the first group of horses back in from pasture and return them to their stalls
* Feed lunch
* Turn out second rotation of horses (this group will be brought back in later by others)

Around 1:00–1:30 PM – Finish for the day!

🌿 Other Barn Duties:

Along with the daily horse care, responsibilities may include:

* Cleaning and filling water troughs
* Keeping the barn and surrounding areas clean and organized
* General barn chores and upkeep

📅 Schedule:

We need coverage 7 days a week.

Monday–Friday: Full schedule, including feeding, stall cleaning, turnout, lunch feeding, and bringing horses back in.

Saturday–Sunday: Feeding, stall cleaning, and general barn care. No turnout or lunch feeding required.

We’re looking for someone dependable who is comfortable around horses, works well independently, and takes pride in providing excellent care. Most importantly, we want this to be a great place to work—a positive, respectful, and enjoyable environment where everyone works together and the horses come first.
