🐾 Parvo Awareness Notice 🐾

I have had some customers ask me about the recent heart breaking Parvo outbreak reported at a local animal shelter please keep the shelter and their Employees and volunteers in your thoughts and prayers and if you can donate anything to them in their time of need please do so.
❗ I wanted to remind everyone to keep an eye out and make sure your dogs are up to date on their vaccinations as a pet parent this is your responsibility. ❗
Canine Parvovirus is highly contagious and can spread through infected dogs and contaminated surfaces. Puppies and unvaccinated dogs are especially vulnerable.
🧼 At my grooming shop, sanitation is a priority. I regularly clean and disinfect grooming tables, tubs, tools, kennels, floors, and other surfaces, including between dogs, to help reduce the risk of spreading contagious illnesses.
If your dog has been exposed to Parvo or is showing signs of illness such as vomiting, diarrhea, or unusual tiredness, please contact your veterinarian first before bringing them to the shop and contact Me after.

update #2 07/08/26 Looks like college Ave may be blocked off today you can turn down Columbia from church or water St and turn down grey St and access the parking lot. Grey st is two way from Columbia st east towards downtown. Update: looks like they are almost done with Milling college Ave from church to water st which is in front of the shop however they are working on college Ave from church up to fifth st. and I believe paving starts 1 to 2 days after Milling is complete.
Attention Customers I wanted to give you all a heads up this week 7\6\26 Elmira is paving grey st and college Ave the two main streets to get to the salon please give ample time ahead in case you can't access our parking lot there are two parking lot entrances open on college Ave and one on grey st worse case scenario you can possibly park on church or water st they are currently milling today and grey st is almost done and looks like they are starting on college Ave weather permitting they should be done by Thursday. If by chance you're running late with getting in please feel free to call and notify me if you're gonna be more than 10 minutes late to your appointment time.

Here's a friendly reminder!! ♨️♨️ Make sure you have ample amounts of fresh water out for your pets indoors and especially outdoors. Provide them with a well shaded area while outside. Avoid Pavement if it's too hot for you to walk barefoot on then it is for them as well.
