Come meet SEVEN adoptable reptiles today at That Fish Place-That Pet Place from 10 am to 2 pm! We have 3 adult ball pythons, a young king snake, two young sulcata tortoises, and a large sulcata tortoise who all need new homes!

So thankful for all the libraries that partner with us each year, and all the families that give reptiles a chance! This was our first time at Ross Library in Lock Haven, and it was awesome! Then we got to visit Renovo Library (for the second time) on the same trip! We are feeling blessed by so many great event partners.

**UPDATE Operation Reptile was able to rescue the snake! Thanks everyone for giving reptiles a chance!**

This ball python was photographed today at Myerstown Quarry in the rock pile down from the flag post. A concerned hiker named Ethan recognized it was not a native snake and called us for help. At the time, the snake was wedged so far into the rock that it was not possible to pull him out without risking injury.

If anyone walks near Myerstown Quarry, please keep your eyes peeled for this abandoned pet snake. He needs to be taken in from the wild before Fall temperatures drop in the coming months. Whoever finds the snake (when he’s safely out of the rock pile) could potentially adopt him, or drop him off with our rescue.

We just rescued another reptile in Lebanon! Last month we helped a 5-foot python there. Thankfully that one was returned home to his owners.

Today we picked up an amelanistic corn snake that was found in someone’s garage.

Is anyone in Lebanon missing a snake? If you can prove she’s yours, and you have a good reason she got loose, please let me know! If there’s a good owner looking for her, we want to help her get home. Thanks for giving reptiles a chance 😊🐍😀
