Cozy Fields Farm in Ellington Connecticut is looking for an addition to our farm family that is interested in very part time work in exchange for credit towards board, lessons or training.

Duties will include grain, water, filling hay nets and, potentially, a minimum amount of stalls or turn in/turn out. We’re looking for help 1-2 evenings a week and a partial weekend day. Our horses are athletic and fit but not naughty, so a competent adult with some equine handling experience will be A-OK.

Our facility includes a well lit indoor, outdoor grass arena with lights, permanent round pen, small group and individual turnout, trails on property, Theraplate, equine treadmill and a welcoming group of people.

Ideal candidate is 18 or over, has reliable transportation, horse experience and an eagerness to learn and be part of a team.

We offer training in a multitude of disciplines as well as rehab, lessons and show opportunities.
