Y’all… just look at our beautiful Butterscotch. ❤️
It’s hard to believe that just 2.5 months ago, this sweet girl came into our care weighing approximately 920 pounds, desperately needing proper nutrition, attention, and someone willing to give her the chance she deserved.
And LOOK AT HER NOW. 🥹
The weight she’s gained, the changes in her body, and the beautiful girl she’s becoming absolutely bring tears to my eyes.
Sometimes I look at these transformations and just stand in awe of what love, dedication, and proper care can accomplish in such a short amount of time.
But I want everyone to understand something…
This doesn’t happen by simply putting food in front of a horse.
This takes commitment. It takes patience. It takes consistency. It takes people who genuinely care enough to show up every single day, even when nobody is watching.
And that’s exactly what our incredible BHFERS Quarantine Team has done for Butterscotch. ❤️
They’ve carefully managed her feedings, monitored her health, watched over her, and poured so much love into this sweet girl. Every pound she’s gained represents their dedication and the countless hours they’ve spent making sure she has everything she needs.

You may not always realize the difference you’re making, but I hope when you look at Butterscotch today, you see what I see. You are changing lives. You are giving animals a future they might not have otherwise had.
