Guys, we need a foster asap for this poodle 😭

We posted about him a few weeks ago, but didn’t hear back from the owner. Then this morning, she sent an urgent text that he had to be gone TODAY. Like right now.

So we said yes, of course, and gave her an address.

Although he looks like a doodle, Theo is actually a 2 year old apricot Standard Poodle (and will soon be groomed like one 🧡). His owner worked long hours and he was left alone either inside or on the patio and got in trouble for barking because it was an apartment. He needs someone home often and no attached housing just in case.

He’s just so stressed 😰 It’s breaking our hearts.

We’ve also discovered that he’s skin and bones underneath. It will show when we shave him 💔

Theo is good with dogs and currently intact, but will be neutered as soon as we can. We need somewhere for him to go ASAP within the Tampa Bay or Sarasota areas.

Won’t comment how I feel about the reason of his return to the shelter. 🤬😤

🚨 ORLANDO, FL — SENIOR DOG NEEDS A HOME! 🚨

Meet STARK (A605944), an 11-year-old sweetheart who deserves so much better than spending his golden years in a shelter.

Stark was originally found wandering in the Sawmill subdivision. This poor senior boy was in rough condition, but despite everything, he was described as having the sweetest, calmest old soul. ❤️

He was finally adopted, and for a moment, it seemed like Stark was getting the second chance he deserved.

But just ONE WEEK later, Stark was returned to Orange County Animal Services because he wasn’t feeling well. 💔

Now, at 11 years old, he’s back in the shelter, currently housed in the isolation building.

This breaks my heart. Senior dogs already have such a difficult time finding homes, and Stark deserves a comfortable bed, a loving family, and the medical attention he may need. Not another day wondering what happened to his home.

* 🐶 Approximately 11 years old, 69 lbs
* ❤️ Neutered and heartworm negative
* 🏡 Reportedly housebroken
* 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Good with men, women, and children, according to his previous adopter
* 💤 Calm, laid-back personality
* 🧸 Still shows interest in toys and treats!

Stark doesn’t need a perfect home. He just needs someone willing to love an old dog.

We don’t yet know the extent of his medical needs, but he deserves a chance to be evaluated and cared for somewhere safe.

🚨💔 SENIOR ALERT: FRED NEEDS A SOFT PLACE TO LAND 💔🚨

That silver face. Those eyes. An old boy who deserves to be curled up in a comfortable bed, with someone nearby who loves him. 🥺

Meet Fred, an 8-year-old Labrador Retriever mix weighing 59 pounds, who has been at Manatee County Animal Welfare since October 9.

We don’t know his whole story, but we know his next chapter deserves love. A shelter kennel shouldn’t be where this sweet old man spends his golden years. He deserves the everyday comforts of home—a peaceful place to rest, gentle affection, and a family who sees how much life and love a senior dog still has to offer. ❤️
